For me, starting Green Chef was one of those aha moments, when things just click. It’s a natural extension of my decade working in organic online groceries, and a product I’ve been wanting in my own life.
I’m fanatical about people having access to the best ingredients. I’m also fanatical about convenience. Even with groceries sent right to our home, my wife and I often found ourselves at the end of a long day, scrambling to pull together a meal. We’d want something healthy and fresh, flavorful and fast. And it seemed like we were always short of ideas—or just one ingredient.
I’d also been hearing more and more people complain that it simply takes too much time and money to dine out, with high quality ingredients few and far between. So I began experimenting with organic meal kits as a way for busy people and families to easily and economically incorporate great, healthy meals into their daily lives. The response was clear: my wife and I weren’t alone.
From there, I got together with a couple of my friends and business partners, Ling and Dan. They come from the gaming world, but share my passion for delighting people with excellent, nourishing food experiences. It didn’t take long for us to form a vision and commit to building it.
What we created is Green Chef, a weekly delivery service that brings all you need to easily cook three healthy, delicious meals to your doorstep. Our in-house chefs craft unique menus, catered to your tastes. We do the shopping, the measuring, and even some of the prepping, saving you time and letting you get right to the cooking. It’s a new way to eat at home.
In less than two months, we’ve assembled a group of people I’m incredibly proud to be working with, and reached the kitchens of awesome customers like you. Green Chef is all about you. We are constantly refining to make your life more enjoyable, tasty, and convenient and we welcome your feedback.
