Sometimes all it takes to have a good day is good food and good company. Ford Warriors in Pink and Green Chef have teamed up to do just that: give more good days to women touched by breast cancer.
Ford Warriors in Pink designed the More Good Days program to empower patients, survivors, and co-survivors throughout their journeys. Like Warriors in Pink, Green Chef supports everyday victories by helping people cook easy, delicious meals right at home.
We invited four warrior women to join Green Chef in the kitchen for one very good (and very tasty) day. Wearing aprons and smiles, Becky, Rosi, Amy, and Myranda learned some culinary secrets from Chefs Dana and Sara.
“I love to cook, so I thought this would be a great opportunity to learn some new tips and tricks and to meet more people that are going through what I’m going through,” Myranda said.

With guidance from our chefs, the ladies chopped, poached, wood-smoked, and learned to chiffonade. They also discovered nourishing alternatives, like swapping chia seeds for eggs or cooking cornbread with applesauce—all techniques found in Green Chef recipes.
While sharing the meals they masterfully prepared, these women also shared a little of themselves, their lives, and their stories. From finding the positive in every situation to writing notes of gratitude, there are many ways they achieve more good days.
Do you know someone who could use a good day? Green Chef and Ford Warriors in Pink are offering 500 breast cancer patients two completely free weeks of Green Chef meals. If you are currently fighting breast cancer or know someone who is, sign up for a chance to receive free Green Chef dinners.
