What will I get with Green Chef Keto?

Who says keto food is bland? Not us! You could be dining on crisp coconut-breaded chicken fingers with curry aïoli, juicy pork chops seasoned with rosemary and mustard-caraway spices, or savory sole roulade served alongside bacon-roasted green beans. Yes, bacon! And that’s just for starters.

Green Chef Keto is perfect for anybody wanting to watch carbs without sacrificing flavor. If you do follow a ketogenic lifestyle and want to add delicious variety to the mix, this is for you.

What is “keto” anyway?

A ketogenic diet is high in good fats, moderate in protein, and low in sugars and carbohydrates. This diet helps the body achieve a metabolic state called ketosis, using ketones produced in the liver for energy instead of the usual glucose from carbs. The body works harder to break down ketones and burns more fat.

What ingredients are part of Green Chef’s Keto Plan?

Green Chef Keto has:
Meat: beef, pork, poultry, lamb, game
Seafood: wild-caught fish
Leafy greens: spinach, kale, etc.
Above-ground vegetables: broccoli, cauliflower, etc.
Limited root vegetables: carrots
Nuts and seeds: macadamias, walnuts, sunflower seeds, etc.
Avocados and berries: raspberries, blackberries, and other low-glycemic berries
Sweeteners: stevia, erythritol, monk fruit, etc.
Tree nuts

Green Chef Keto has NO:
Grains: wheat, corn, rice, cereal, etc.
Excess sugar: refined sugar, honey, agave, maple syrup, etc.
Fruit: apples, bananas, oranges, etc.
Tubers: potatoes, yams, etc.
Farmed seafood: shrimp, salmon, trout, etc.

Can I hit my nutrient macros with Green Chef Keto?

Green Chef Keto meals generally fall into a range of 400-600 calories and typically contain less than 30g net carbs per serving. Full nutritional info is provided online for each recipe.

Our meals are designed to be keto-friendly, not keto-stringent. To hit a desired fat profile, we invite you to customize the fat content to your liking. Consider cooking with saturated fats like coconut oil, butter, or ghee.

We also provide plenty of vegetables, so you can limit carbs further and still enjoy a filling meal by saving some veggies for later.

What are net carbs?

We use the term “net carbs” to estimate total carbohydrate content minus the fiber content of the meal.

Isn’t dairy part of the ketogenic diet?

Traditionally, yes. We’ve decided not to include dairy in our keto-friendly recipes so that anyone following a keto, paleo, or whole food diet can enjoy Green Chef Keto meals.

How much does Green Chef Keto cost?

$14.99 per serving, plus $9 shipping and handling per box.

1 box of Green Chef Keto includes 3 dinners to serve 2 people (6 servings total).

I think it’s amazing that you all are trying to support the Keto lifestyle, and I would be very much interested once your meals conform to the macros that most people who eat Keto try to go by. Your meals still have way too many carbs per serving–most people on Keto try to stay between 20-50 carbs per DAY (everyone I know stays under 20 carbs/day), and your meals have an average of 30 per SERVING. That is way too high for Keto–probably ok for people who are just low-carb. Especially at $14.99/serving, you can find higher-quality, low-carb veggies and seasonings to use. Keep trying! I look forward to becoming a customer in the future!!
