The Oscars are Hollywood’s most glamorous night, but who says your snacks have to be over-the-top to be worthy of a gold statuette? Whether you’re watching to see who will take home the coveted Best Picture title or who is the best dressed, we promise our chef-curated kale chips are a shoo-in for best snack. It’s time to roll out the red carpet and let these mouthwatering morsels take the spotlight.
- 1 bunch green kale
- 1 ½ tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt & pepper to taste
MAKE KALE CHIPS
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Remove center stems from kale; discard. Tear leaves into 2-3 inch pieces.
Place kale leaves in a large bowl. Drizzle with about 2 tablespoons olive oil. Season with smoked paprika and nutritional yeast, salt and pepper to taste. Toss to evenly coat.
BAKE KALE CHIPS
Spread kale out in a single layer on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes, or until crisp, stirring halfway through.
